Royalty in Distress

  • 2013
  • clay (ceramic)
  • Wood fired… at 1280 degrees centigrade… it was a tricky job to make this tall sculpture with narrow base stand in the kiln & not fall on other sculptures at the time it vitrifies… but it stood the ground not harming others…
  • 11.5 x 56 x 28 cm
  • the beauty of the blue blood is not withered … even the rags wrapped look elegant…. & honored…

  • This towering beauty with royal blood… can just not accept the stark realities of life as & how it gets… the rags of the riches leave a mark… you accept or don’t… life just falls on you…
