    Unité d'Habitation de Marseille | 2018

The Unité d'Habitation (la cité radieuse) is a housing estate designed by Le Corbusier together with architect and painter Nadir Afonso. When visiting Marseille I stayed in one of the apartments in this building and was caught by its extraordinary interior. Especially the corridor stuck in my mind. It was scarcely lit, with a low ceiling and glossy black floor which created a dark and mysterious yet spectacular experience to walk through. Especially as it seemed to be endless. In this series I visualised my experience of walking through the corridor.
