The Body in Conflict with the Scientific Paradigm (Series) | 2014

This series explores how continual progress in biotechnology may not be such a good thing. I explore all my inner struggles through this series by depicting my own fears of what may happen to the world when it is far overrun by technology. These pieces take immense labor and the act of creating the pieces manually, contradicts the forward movement of technology. Through labor and the physical act of drawing my effort works as a pause button for the disarray and bombardment of technology today. Progress is only an idea and an entire paradigm in it's self.
