Juliet Taylor explores the theme of choices, mixed with the concerns of physical fragility. The blatant nature of her Augmentation series shows the stark reality of certain choices made, decisions taken and prices fixed. The plastic surgeon marked each of the woman to show what surgery he would perform on each - Exposing the imperfections on each individual and the costs to do so. Each drawing their own individual map - confronting for each woman who had not previously considered plastic surgery.
