  • Created during a Ragdale Residency, this work utilizes the first 10 digits of the infinite number e, 2718281828, to create shapes and plot spatial relationships. Ragdale's back yard is an open prairie: color from landscape invaded the work.

    Encaustic Studies | 2013

Since early 2007, all of the fiberglass structures have been math generated. I am now slowly beginning to transitioning the math to 2D surfaces by looking for new systems of mapping the math as I get to know encaustics and look for my own voice in mixed media on panel. I view all current 2D works as studies.
