Commentary | 2014
This piece explores the link between sports and art influenced by popular culture and the everyday. Inspired by a quote from Brian Massumi's 'Semblance and Event' in which he discusses art being the only event that requires a constant commentary from its audience, I decided to replace this commentary with a professional commentator. This piece further explored my negotiation of the exhibition space and its consideration as a stage. I collaborated with a BBC horse race commentator in both a film and live performance.
