In the Transfer Project , I become an unusual voice assistant who, by means of his voice, navigates users(people and Echo Amazon’s voice assistant) through overlapping user interfaces - personas. I focus on processes of learning languages (machine/human) which support the formation of individuation. This is a term which describes how something or someone becomes what they are. Gilbert Simondon spoke of domains which precede or transcend the sphere of the individual, and with which the individual is always in an “in-forming”relationship. It is not certain to whom the words I speak are addressed and whom we become when we hear them. Are we an artificial intelligence, warehouse employees, a voice parsed into data? One thing is however certain: we work for Amazon. ________________________________________________________________ The presentation of this project must be done live.
