This paint technique, originally photorealistic, involves layering the three primary colours cyan-magenta-yellow on a grisaille painted in greyscale. The colours are layered one after the other - without mixing them - according to the tonal value of the original picture given by a computer programme. The confrontation with artificial intelligence and the critique of the cult of authorship culminated in the question of the significance of artistic gesture.
