Pohybujeme se ve světě věcí. To je časté téma poslední doby. Současně však stále zůstává těžké definovat, co vlastně věc je. Do jaké míry se jedná o produkt, materiál či fyzikální jev. Nezanedbatelnou roli hraje i otázka sítí vztahů, ve kterých tyto věci „fungují“. Jako předměty jsou v naší kultuře často chápána i sama naše těla. A to ne jako celky, ale jako součet menších, navzájem se vázajících částí. Naše údy a orgány jsou předměty vyžadující obdobnou péči jako předměty kolem nás, které používáme.
We move in the world of things. It is a frequent topic of recent times. At the same time, however, it still remains difficult to define what actually is a thing. To what extent it is a product, material or physical phenomenon. The significant role plays the question of the relations network in which these things “work”. Our bodies are often in our culture understood as things. And not as a whole but as the sum of smaller, mutually binding parts. Our limbs and organs are objects that require similar care as objects around us that we use.
