The Czech author works across various disciplines and often creates series that comment on historical events. At a similar distance, she can look at current phenomena to point out the trends of civilization, such as in the series History of (Dis) Obedience (2019) and “New Idleness” (2018). Twisted dancing figures or servants - as a painterly reference to mannerist paintings with elongated and unnaturally bent figures expressing desirable social standards - are placed in the context of today's lifestyle focused on fitness, diet and other alternatives. She does not criticize or warn against these facts, but rather seeks a balance in exaggeration and with a dose of humor reflects the conformity of society, and also revolt.
