2ND PARIS DISTRICT TOWN HALL, PARIS (FR)
What is the relationship of us, the civilized, to the wild nature? Can we find something which connects us with this unorganized world? What will be our reaction when we meet face to face? To adapt? To be touched? To control? To protect? To destroy? Or all of these together to the absolute contrast?
These simple questions will be
outlined in a video and performance which an artist will present in the
courtyard of the 2nd Paris district Town Hall. Will the mysterious
impulses, that everyday reality offers, lift us? Vertically walking feet
like a line of centipedes, a monstrous shadow of a small dog at sunset,
a coat whose sleeves extend along the body and fall down resembling
tree branches, an eye of a pigeon which explores its territory where
human details emerge and so on.
The aim is to break down the established codes of perception and understanding of the world completely and get the observer to the absurd. All this to realize that we are an integral part of what infinitely transcends us - the nature.
