HUNGARIAN CULTURE CENTRE, HELSINKI (FI)
My exhibition opened in Helsinki titled PERSONAL ABSTRACTIONS. The objects do not just challenge the fundamental statements and dogmas. Through a multitude of examples, it reveals, and conveys by abstraction, that the world – including human relationships – is more diverse than our prejudices let us experience in everyday life. The Geometrical Pantheon consists of 12 individual sculptures. The modules of each sculpture can be rotated manually, and can be transformed into varied forms according to our curiosity and mood. The base form is always an 'almost regular' solid, which may be turned into a chaotic form or to one with a nice and organic statuette. This connection between the emerging sculptures and the experimenting person is very intimate. A special member of the family of the sculptures is a sphere.
