In my work, I repeatedly focus mainly on a reflection and critique of the Christian Church that functions in the conditions of 21st century democracy; on its inner mechanisms and paradoxes, its secretiveness, unconfessed sins of the ones that are officially representing it and a state of injustice of the ones that are affected by these actions.

Through the reflections of my own experiences with the criticized institution, I head towards their ideological abstraction and generalization. By the use of various media (photography, video, object, installation, performance), I thematise a flexion/deformation of the Christian/Church (or, more generally, democratic) principles in a free society and its impact on various “objects” (bodies, individual and collective thinking, actions, relationships, institutional praxes, etc.) that are affected be this action.

My aim is to formally, expressively and ideologically reflect the complexity of the main theme by the use of concise, space saving and subtle representations, while avoiding an ideological simplification. Resulting disturbing statements are relieved of escalated expressivity, while forming a space for a dialogue without anger and a desire to humiliate an opponent; a dialogue that is based on a sensitive both with critical perception of the reflected phenomena.

Vo svojej tvorbe sa opakovane vraciam najmä k reflexii a kritike cirkvi, fungujúcej v podmienkach demokracie 21. storočia, mechanizmom a paradoxom, ktoré v nej fungujú, jej uzavretosti, nepriznaným hriechom tých, ktorí ju oficiálne reprezentujú a príkoriam tých, ktorých sa toto konanie dotýka.

Od reflexie vlastných skúseností s kritizovanou inštitúciou smerujem k ich ideovému abstrahovaniu a zovšeobecneniu. Prostredníctvom rôznych médií (fotografia, video, objekt, inštalácia, performance) tematizujem ohýbanie, respektíve deformáciu kresťanských/cirkevných (ale aj všeobecne – demokratických) princípov v slobodnej spoločnosti a jej dopad na „objekty“ (telá, individuálne a kolektívne myslenie, konanie, vzťahy, inštitucionálnu prax atď.) zasiahnuté týmto dejom.

Zložitosť témy sa pokúšam bez jej ideového zjednodušovania reflektovať formálne, výrazovo a ideovo v koncíznych, úsporných a subtílnych vyjadreniach. Znepokojivé výpovede zbavujem vyhrotenej expresivity a vytváram priestor na dialóg bez hnevu a túžby pokoriť súpera, dialóg, založený na citlivom, no kritickom vnímaní reflektovaných fenoménov.
