Trafó gallery, Budapest group show, 2018 curator: Borbála Szalai The marble statues of Sári Ember remind us of portraits, bust and masks, which become atemporal and universal because of their reduced forms. the unusual, but still familiar forms and the fine material of the marble don’t contain concrete references to actual people, but they highlight the idea of remembrance through objects.
