Two Little Girls From Little Rock | 2014
This piece explores the gap between movement and language. Looking for alternative ways to communicate, and exploring music as the most pure and earliest form of language. Taken from gestures performed by Marilyn Monroe in her performance of Two Little Girls From Little Rock, the dancer interprets these into a system of different gestures which are then used to command an orchestra. This piece is continuation of 'Game of Power'.
