Blažek on OAF (2021)
Guest Solo exhibition on Art Fest in Prague 2021Tomáš Blažek is a graduate of the sculpture studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno, where he studied classical figural sculpture under the guidance of prof. akad. soch. Gabriela, a member of the Tvrdohlavých art group.
Blažek works intensively on the "parameterization of the sculpture", ie 3D sculptures and especially the method of spatial expression of the connections and relationships of mathematics and programming directly in the building.
He uses contemporary technologies and is a representative of digital and metamodern tendencies in sculpture and painting.
Together with Žitňanská, Jemelka and Činčalová, they founded an art group and published its digital manifesto in 2017.
He is represented by the Artuare Gallery.
V Češtině
Blažek je absolventem ateliéru sochařství na Fakultě výtvarných umění v Brně, kde studoval klasické figurální sochařství pod vedením prof. akad. soch. Gabriela, člena umělecké skupiny Tvrdohlavých.
Blažek intenzivně pracuje na "parametrizaci sochy", tedy 3D plastikách a zejména metodě prostorového vyjadřování souvislostí a vztahů matematiky a programování přímo v objektu. Používá soudobé technologie a je představitelem digitálních a metamoderních tendencí v sochařství i malbě.
Spolu s Žitňanskou, Jemelkou a Činčalovou založili uměleckou skupinu a vydali v roce 2017 její digitální manifest.
Zastupuje jej galerie Artuare.
